Lohren Green is a writer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Atmospherics is his second book; his first is entitled Poetical Dictionary: Abridged, and was published by Atelos Press in 2003 (now in its third printing, the book was a Small Press Distribution poetry bestseller for the decade 2000-2009). Lohren completed his Ph.D. at the University of Calfornia at Berkeley's Department of Rhetoric, and his Master's at Cambridge University in England, where he studied history and philosophy of science. He was an Artist in Residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts. His writing has appeared in journals including 32 Poems, Open City, and Shark, a set of his poems are included in the compilation Encyclopedia
(Vol. 2), and his poetry is included in the anthology Old Flame.
